Born in Paris, Eric Lathière began his career as painter co-ordinator and model maker for live shows and films. Then he spent two years studying film technique at « C.L.C.F » (equivalent of the N.Y Film Institute).
Subsequently, he wrote and directed several short films which were selected both for French and International festivals as well as national French Television.

His first novel "Momo, un ange" was published in 2000 and his two previous screenplays have been award winning : «Les bons gâteaux» -«Prix Genève-Europe» - for best TV fiction, and "J'aurais tant voulu que mon père m'embrasse" 2009 winner of « Fais ton Scénario », has been edited as a novel by Publibook/FNAC collection.

For seven years Eric gave a class on « Acting for the Camera » at the “Ecole Florent”, Paris. He's actually script teacher on his film school C.L.C.F
He now writes and directs theatre plays, video clips, films industry, and animation series.

Since 2020 he has specialized in writing youth audio series... He has written a dozen series for different platforms and for Almastudio.com, produced and set music by DJ Martin Solveig.

Her first children's album "Cléo and Apo, mice at the museum" is published by Didier Jeunesse.
